EYE Film Institute, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

EYE is the first major cultural institution to make the leap across the river IJ in Amsterdam. It strives to be the ‘house of film’, a modern museum full of many things to see and do, all of which are related to film.

EYE is located in the Overhoeks neighborhood of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It includes a cinematography museum formerly called Filmmuseum. It was officially opened on April 4, 2012 by Queen Beatrix.
